HOW MUCH CA$H CAN YOU EARN?

STANDARD CONSIGNORS EARN 60%
A standard consignor earns 60% of the sale price of their items and pays the consignor fee to participate (helps cover venue, equipment and advertising costs). The item limit is 200 items per consignor. If you have over 150 items and are NOT donating your unsold items at the end of the sale, you are required to volunteer during one Sunday sort shift to help sort items for consignor pick-up. Sorting is most time-consuming part of each sale and the more items that consignors bring, the longer it takes.

VOLUNTEER CONSIGNORS – EARN UP TO 75% PLUS PERKS!
Consignors can earn up to 15% more and extra perks by volunteering during the sale with sorting inventory, organizing, stocking the sales floor and more. The more you volunteer, the more you earn! Also, look for bonus shifts! These busy shifts are more hands on-deck, they require less time commitment but count for more!

  • 16-hour Volunteers: Earn 75% of sale price your items, shop earliest at each presale (also gets you into the JBF presale) and get five guest passes (normally $5 each) to hand out to friends or family to get into the presales.
  • 12-hour Volunteers: Earn 70% of the sale price of your items, shop earlier than 8-hour volunteers at each presale (also gets you into the JBF presale), and four guest passes (normally $5 each) to hand out to friends or family to get into the presales.
  • 8-hour Volunteers: Earn 65% of the sale price of your items, shop earlier than 4-hour volunteers at each presale (also gets you into the JBF presale), and get three guest passes (normally $5 each) to hand out to friends or family to get into the presales.
  • 4-hour Volunteers: Earn 60% of the sale price of your items, shop earlier than 2-hour volunteers at each presale (also gets you into the JBF presale), and get two guest passes to give friends or family members to get into the presales.
  • 2-hour Volunteers: Shop 30 minutes earlier than consignors at each presale, plus bring one guest!

VOLUNTEER NO SHOWS EARN ONLY 50%
Volunteers helps the sale to run successfully! If you sign up for a volunteer shift and are a NO SHOW, meaning you do not show up for your scheduled shift, then you will only earn 50% on the sale price of your items. When there are no shows, we end up having additional costs like hiring staff and paying for longer venue rental times.

CONSIGNOR FEE – WHAT IS IT FOR AND WHO HAS TO PAY IT?
The consignor fee is charged to each consignor when they register for a sale. The consignor fee goes toward helping to bridge the gap in rising venue and rental costs, software for registering and tagging, advertising costs to promote the sale, and other costs like equipment (racks, tables, registers, etc.). The Spring 2024 consignor fee is $20. The consignor fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you change your mind about consigning, you will not receive a refund of the fee. Please be certain you will consign before registering and paying the fee.
