Preloved Threads sales would not exist with the help of volunteers! Our volunteers become team members that help advertise prior to the sale, help set up the pop-up “store”, help out with various tasks during the sale like managing dressing rooms, go backs and organizing, they also help sort, tear-down and pack up at the end of the week.

WHAT CAN VOLUNTEERS/TEAM MEMBERS EARN:
Volunteer Team Members – Consignors can earn up to 15% more and extra perks by volunteering during the sale with sorting inventory, organizing, stocking the sales floor and more. The more you volunteer, the more you earn! Also, look for the bonus shifts! These busy shifts are the ones we need more hands on-deck, so they require less time commitment but count for more! Volunteers may only sign up for a max of two of these bonus shifts.
- 16-hour Volunteers: Earn 75% of the sale price of your items, get exclusive access to shop each presale earlier than 12-hour volunteers and get five guest passes (normally $5 each) to hand out to friends or family to get into the presales.
- 12-hour Volunteers: Earn 70% of the sale price of your items, get exclusive access to shop each presale earlier than 8-hour volunteers and get four guest passes (normally $5 each) to hand out to friends or family to get into the presales.
- 8-hour Volunteers: Earn 65% of the sale price of your items, get to shop each presale earlier than 4-hour volunteers and get three guest passes (normally $5 each) to hand out to friends or family to get into the presales.
- 4-hour Volunteers: Get to shop each presale earlier than 2-hour volunteers and get two guest passes to give to friends or family members to get into the presales.
- 2-hour Volunteers: Get to shop each presale 30 minutes earlier than consignors plus bring one guest! It also gives you great exposure to how the sale works behind the scenes which is super helpful when determining what to sell, how to price and other details of being a consignor.
Sort Shift Volunteer Perks – Consignors who volunteer on Sunday during the sort shift will get awesome extra benefits! Not only will the shift count for double the volunteer hours, sort volunteers will also have the exclusive opportunity to shop again after the sale ends and take 75% off the price of any items that are marked for donation (non-donated items will still be 50% off or regular price if it is indicated on the tag, or regular price if not). These sort shift is one of the most important shifts as we have a short window of time to sort items before we must pack up and exit the building. We offer this perk to help entice consignors to volunteer during that time AND it is one more way to help consignors earn additional sales before the items are donated!

VOLUNTEER NO SHOWS EARN ONLY 50%
Volunteers help sale to run successfully! If you sign up for volunteer shift and are NO SHOW, meaning you not show up for your scheduled shift, will only earn 50% that sale price of items. Are no shows, having additional costs like hiring staff and for longer venue rental times.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
Sign up for volunteer hours online by logging into your consignor account, clicking on MENU, and selecting work shifts to see what shifts are available for you. Shifts come in 2, 3 or 4 hour chunks and bonus shifts (shorter shifts worth more hours) are noted with specific details.
